The Indians were back in on the field on Thursday for their home opener of the season taking on Valley Lutheran High School. The girls took the win 18-3 in the first game of the double header. We had our bats going early and often in this game, and our defense was the best it has been all season! 

J. Wendling: 1 single, 1 walk, 1 run scored

S. Shelton: 2 walks, 2 runs scored

E. Losey: 1 single, 1 walk, 2 runs scored

N. Neumann: 1 triple, 1 single, 1 walk, 3 runs scored

A Knollinger: 2 walks, 1 run scored

M. Morse: 1 single, 1 run scored

L. Fulk: 2 walks, 1 run scored

B. Pierce: 2 walks, 2 runs scored

K. Nelson: 1 single, 2 walks, 3 runs scored

P. Breedan: 2 walks, 2 runs scored

Elisse Losey took the win on the mound in game one striking out 9 batters and holding Valley Lutheran to 3 runs the whole game. (2-1 on the season)

We were very impressed with how the girls came out fighting in the first game, they showed up ready to compete! All of their hard work in practices is showing up in their games, and we couldn’t be more excited that it is all coming together!

The Indians are 4-1 on the season (1-1 in MMAC)
