In game 2 of the double header the Indians picked up right where they left off! The girls took the win 18-3 against the Valley Lutheran Chargers. The bats were going, the base running was great, and the defense was showing up throughout the whole game!

S. Shelton: 2 walks, 2 runs scored

L. Belanger: 1 ITP Homerun, 1 run scored

E. Losey: 1 single, 2 walks, 3 runs scored

I Popilek: 1 double, 3 Intentional walks, 3 runs scored

A Knollinger: 3 walks, 3 runs scored

B. Pierce: 1 triple, 1 walk, 2 runs scored

K. Nelson: 1 walk, 1 run scored

J. Bodag: 1 single, 2 walks, 1 run scored
 

Izzy Popilek took the win on the mound in game 2 striking out 12 batters while only allowing 3 runs to score the entire game. (2-0 on the season)

We are extremely happy with the performance from all of our girls this week! They came to play on gameday and that is all we can ask of as coaches! All the pieces are coming together for the girls and we could not be more happy to see all their hard work at practice paying off in the games. The Indians are back on the diamond Friday April 26th when they travel to play the Alma Panthers at 4pm. 

The Indians are 5-1 (1-1 MMAC) on the season!
