The lady Indians hosted the Durand Railroaders on Thursday evening. In their final home game of the season, the freshman defeated their opponent in all three sets: 25-17, 26-24, 25-13.
Leading the team was Caira Zervan with five aces, nine assists and three kills. Natalie Pierce was a hitting machine, adding seven kills, five aces and three digs. Keira Swartz racked up three aces, one assist and two kills. While Casey Railling had one ace, three kills and one dig. Mariana Escamilla contributed two aces and one assist. Talisha Helvie added one assist and one kill. Terrah Moyer had one ace on the evening.
"The girls are becoming quite a team, working together and communicating better each week. It is exciting to see the progress," said Coach Hoerner. The Indians travel to Montrose October 12.
