Chesaning Freshman Volleyball team traveled to Ithaca Saturday for a tournament.  In pool play, the Lady Indians went 1-5. Against Ithaca, they split with scores of 21-17 & 16-21. Alaina Knoellinger scored 8 points with 5 of them being aces. Jordyn Butcher had one ace and another 2 points, Taylor Maier & Brianna Pierce each had 2 points with one ace apiece and Jordan Wendling also had 2 points.                                                               At the net, Butcher had 2 kills & Audrey Gilman had 1 with Maier earning 2 assists and Knoellinger having 1.

     Against Swan Valley, the Indians came up short with scores of 13-21 & 17-21.  Again, Knoellinger was top scorer with 6 points; 4 aces. Elizabeth Beldyga and Maier each had 2 ace serves and Butcher scored 1 ace and another point.                                                                                                                                                    At the attack line, Butcher had 5 kills and Pierce had one with Koellinger earning 4 assists and both Beldyga and Maier getting one each.

     In the final pool play of the day, Chesaning lost both sets to Hart with scores of 18-21 & 12-21.  Knoellinger led all scorers with 8 points, 2 being aces. Pierce followed behind with 4 points and Wendling scored 3 with one ace.  Rounding out the scorers were Beldyga, Maier, & Brooklyn Mallory with one point each.                                Butcher had 2 kills with Knoellinger and Maier each getting one assist.
