In last night's freshman volleyball action against Durand, Chesaning won the match with scores of 25-20, 25-16, & 21-25. Leading scorers for the Indians were Alaina Knoellinger with 8 points; half of them being ace serves and Taylor Maier also with 8 points. Close behind them was Brianna Pierce with 4 aces and an additional 3 more points. Scoring three total points each were Elizabeth Beldyga (all aces), Jordyn Butcher (2 aces), & Brooklyn Mallory (1 ace). Jordan Wendling rounded out the scoring with one point. At the attack line was Butcher with 7 kills and Audrey Gilman, Mallory, & Wendling with one kill each. These attacks were made possible by Knoellinger's 5 assists, Beldyga's 3, and Maier's & Pierce's one assist each.
