In last night's action, the Chesaning Freshman volleyball team hosted Ithaca in their last home match of the year. The Lady Indians took the win in three sets with scores of 25-12, 11-25, 25-14. Top scorer for the night was Alaina Knoellinger with 7 aces and an additional 7 points. Lizzy Beldyga scored 9 points, with 5 being aces. Both Brooklyn Mallory & Brianna Pierce had 4 aces and 2 more points each. Jordyn Butcher earned 3 aces and Jordan Wendling had one ace and one additional point. Attacking at the net, were Butcher with 3 kills and Knoellinger with one. Assisting with those kills were Knoellinger, Mallory, and Taylor Maier with one assist apiece.
The freshman squad finishes out their season next Tuesday when they travel to Montrose.
