In their last night of competition for the season, the Lady Indian freshman volleyball team traveled to Montrose and came home with a huge win! They won all three sets with scores of 25-20, 25-18, & 25-7. Leading scorer for the night was Jordyn Butcher with 16 total points, 4 being aces. Close behind her was Alaina Knoellinger with 7 aces for a total of 15 points. Brianna Pierce served 2 aces for 7 points, Lizzy Beldyga crushed 4 aces for 6 points, Avery Brill earned herself 1 ace with 3 points, Jordan Wendling had 2 points, and both Taylor Maier and Brooklyn Mallory each had one point with Mallory's being an ace.                         The team showed the spectators what they've been working on all season; using their three hits to their advantage and the stats show it. Butcher tallied up 19 spikes with 5 being kills. Audrey Gilman showed what she could do at the net with 8 spikes, one kill. Coming out of the back row, Brill also earned herself a kill. Pierce had 2 spikes, and Wendling and Knoellinger each had one.  Those spikes and kills wouldn't be possible without the hard work of the setters.  Knoellinger had 3 assists with 10 total sets, Beldyga put up 9 sets for our hitters, and Butcher had one assist and 6 total sets. Also helping those hitters was Maier with 4 sets, Wendling with one assist plus one more set and Lilly Tomac with one set, also.
