In the season opener, Chesaning 8th grade volleyball struggled with their serves and passing against a tough Mt. Morris team, losing both matches of the night 9-25, 4-25, 5-25 and 5-25, 7-25, 8-25.
In the first match, Carmen Santhany and Bella Hodson both scored the only points of the night with one each.
In the evening closer, Marenda Jones led the team with 3 points; one being an ace serve. Josie Bennett and Natalie Pierce each score one point.
