Seventh Grade Volleyball
Chesaning went up against Montrose Middle School on Monday, November 22nd at Chesaning High School. The girls were split into 3 groups to accommodate Montrose's single team. Fighting hard to the end, Chesaning lost the first game of the set 19-25. Brianna Olgine and Hailia Jewell knocked down some ace serves for the team. Game two was another close battle between the teams. Chesaning serving starts were Rowan Harris with 4 ace serves, Paige Swartz with three ace serves, and Cora Ustishen with 3 ace serves as well. In the end, the Indians fell to the Rams in game two with a score of 22-25. Closing out the set in game three, the Indians lost with a score of 11-25. Star servers were Alyce'a Stilson with one ace serve and Taylor Maier with one ace serve as well.
