Seventh Grade Girls Volleyball 

Black Team Game Summary: 

The 7th grade Chesaning girls volleyball team hosted Ovid-Elsie on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021. The "Black" team played first. Game one ended in a victory for the Indians witha set score of 25-23. Star servers include Avarie Thomas, Alyce'a Stilson, Cora Ustishen, and Brooklyn Mallory all with one ace serve. Game two was a close battle as well where the Indians fell to the Marauders with a score of 19-25. Elisse Losey put up some beautiful serves to bring in points for the Indians as did Avarie Thomas and Alaina Knoellinger. Going into game three split 1-1, the Indians played their hearts out but unfortunately lost game three and the match with a score of 23-25. Cora Ustishen brought in 4 ace serves during this game and Elisse Losey was right behind her with 3 aces on the board as well. Great work, ladies! 

Orange Team Game Summary: 

The second set of the night against Ovid-Elsie wasn't as we thought it would be. Game one started strong but did not go our way with a final score of 14-25. Jayden Manser had a couple of great serves over to OE as did Audrey Gilman. Game two started with Chesaning serving. Serving big for the Indians was Jordyn Butcher, Leah Fulk, and Taylor Maier. Even with those big servers supporting the Indians, the Marauders came out with the win with a final score of 13-25. Game three against OE ended with a loss for the Indians as well with a final score of 12-25. Two aces were on the board for Taylor Maier and Jordyn Butcher and Peyton Howell added one ace serve as well. Overall, a great match for both teams!
