On Wednesday night, Chesaning 7th grade girls' volleyball team had their first home match again Birch Run.  The Lady Indians won both matches with scores of 16-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16, 22-25, & 25-16. 

In the opening match, the “Black” team was lead by Sienna Vasquez-Vela with 8 points, half being aces. Livia Debusschere earned 5 points   (3 aces). Brianna Rodriguez scored 3 aces and both Mackenzie Geitman and Paige Theile earned 3 points with 2 being untouched. Both of Emely Serrano-Rojas's points were aces while Indy Basney, Teagan Sutliff, and Almira Syed all scored 2 points with one being an ace apiece.

In the second match, Ryan Timmerman & Avery Morse were the leading scorers with 8 points apiece. Timmerman had 3 aces while Morse had 2. Both Brielle Lanczynski and Emma Turner scored 4 points and Turner had 2 aces. All of Chloe Plonsky's 3 points were ace serves while Makayla Meyer and Harper Turnwald each had 3 points also, but 2 aces. Lily Shackelford also had 3 points with one being an ace. Rounding out the scoring was Maeve Gross and Madison Tate with one point each.

At the net, Meyer had one assist while Timmerman had 3 kills and Jaina Erickson, Lanczynski, & Plonsky each had one.
