Monday night, Chesaning’s 7th grade volleyball team hosted New Lothrop in 2 games. In the first game, the Black team lost two of the three sets with scores of 19-25, 12-25, & 25-19. They were  led by Brianna Rodriguez with 9 points; 6 were aces. Following behind her was Emely Serrano-Rojas with 5 ace serves. Both Lakyn Douglas and Almira Syed  earned three points while Mackenzie Geitman had 2 and Brianna Fernandez, Layla Pritchett-Belanger, and Malorie Theile had one point each.
In the second game, the Lady Indians won two of the three sets with scores of 27-25, 8-25, & 25-13.  Ryan Timmerman led all scorers with 12 points; 8 being aces. Avery Morse had 5 points and both Makayla Meyer and Harper Turnwald scored 4 each. Jaina Erickson earned 3 points while Maeve Gross, Chloe Plonsky, Braelyn Rogers, and Lily Shackelford scored twice each. Finishing out the scoring was Josie Weisenberger with one point. 

At the net, Meyer had 2 kills while Timmerman had one. Assisting in those were Timmerman with two and Gross with one assist each.
