Last night, Chesaning’s 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Birch Run for 2 games. In the first game, the "Black" team lost 2 out of three sets with scores of 14-25, 14-25, & 25-23.  

Leading scorers were Brianna Rodriguez with 5 ace points and both Brianna Fernandez & Layla Pritchett-Belanger with 4 points. Lakyn Douglas scored 3 points, Livia Debusschere had 2, and both Emely Serrano-Rojas and Teagan Sutliff scored one ace.

Serrano-Rojas had one assist to Paige Thiel's one kill. 

In the second game of the night, the "Orange" team won 2 out of three sets with scores of 25-17, 25-20, & 9-25.  The team was led by Rylee Neri with 6 points and both Lily Shackelford & Harper Turnwald with 5 points each.  Makayla Meyer & Josie Weisenberger scored 4 points each while Braelyn Rogers had 3 points, Ryan Timmerman scored 2 aces, and Maeve Gross, Brielle Lanczynski, & Madison Tate had 1 point apiece. Gross and Tate each had one kill from Rogers’ & Timmerman's one assist.

The Lady Indians host Montrose tonight at 5:30 in their final game of the season.
