Chesaning Lady Indians Cross-Country kicked off the official start to their season with a 7th place team finish in the Small School Division at the Birch Run Fall Invitational. Chesaning was led by Sophomore Taylor Bailey who crossed the line in 24:09, good for a 30th place overall finish. Bailey was followed by Makayle Reiber in 87th place (27:25) and Eliana Germaine in 88th place (27:26). All three finishes earned medals with their performances. Rounding out the Chesaning team was Lauren Grimm with a time of 32:14 and Shyanne Sutter with a time of 36:57. Next up for the Indians is the Corunna Invitational on Tuesday, August 31st.
