Chesaning Girls Varsity Cross-Country ended their season at the MHSAA Regional meet hosted by Lansing Catholic in DeWitt. The Indians faced a very challenging course of rolling hills and constant mud and a very talented group of Regional teams. Despite the challenging conditions the Lady Indians gave the race their all. Taylor Bailey crossed the line first for Chesaning, something she has done in each race this season for the team, taking 37th place overall. Makayla Reiber ran her strongest race of the season, finishing in 38th place which was 19 places higher than her rankings for the meet. Eliana Germaine took 47th place, marking an improvement of 12 spots from her rankings entering the meet. Emily Smith completed the Chesaning runners posting a 58th place finish, representing an improvement of 11 places of her rankings.
