Girls Varsity Cross Country @ Cougar 2 Mile

The Chesaning Lady Indians Cross-Country Team competed in their first competition of the season at the Cougar 2-Mile hosted by Lansing Catholic High School. 13 teams participated in the non-scored meet with some top area teams ranging from division 1 through division 4. Freshman Leah Theile led the way for Chesaning, earning a medal by placing 2nd in the first race of the evening.Freshman Ruby Gross came in 10th place to earn a medal closely followed by newcoming senior Karma Crandell with an 11th place finish. In total, Chesaning had 13 runners compete on the girls team:
