The Chesaning Girls Cross-Country team finished 1st in the 2nd MMAC Jamboree hosted by Durand High School. Chesaning and Ovid-Elsie battled to the end, with Chesaning narrowly earning the victory, 49-50. Senior Makayla Reiber led the way for the Lady Indians, securing a 6th place finish. She was followed by Freshmen runners Leah Theile (7th), Ruby Gross (9th), Alonna Schack (11th), and fellow senior Karma Crandell (19th). The first place finish pulls Chesaning in a tie with Ovid-Elsie for first place in the conference, setting the stage for the final MMAC meet to determine the conference champion on October 9th.
