The Chesaning Girls Cross-Country team competed in their final MMAC competition of the season. This season was closer than any for the girls teams. Chesaning and Ovid-Elsie came in tied for the conference record as Ovid-Elsie claimed victory in the first Jamboree, with Chesaning taking the win in the second Jamboree. The winner of the final Jamboree would determine conference champion. Chesaning and Ovid-Elsie had a tough back and forth race, ending the meet in a 40-40 tie, with the tiebreaker going to the talented runners of Ovid-Elsie. The 2nd place conference finish is the highest ever MMAC finish for the Lady Indians. Seven runners recorded seven Personal Records during the race. Brooke Springer, one of our most improved runners, earned MMAC Honorable Mention for her performance in the three Jamborees. Freshmen Alonna Schack and Ruby Gross earned Second Team Conference Honors. Freshman Leah Theile and Senior Makayla Reiber earned first team All Conference Honors.
