CHS Varsity Wrestling Team at NL Hall of Fame Tournament

Chesaning's Varisty Wrestling team retruned to NL on Saturday 1/11/25, for the New Lothrop Hall of Fame Tournamanet. This is been noted to be one of the toughest tournaments this weekend as teams from all over the mitten come, such as Leslie, Richmond, Dundee, St. Johns, North Branch, Beaverton to name a few. A total of 24 teams were present.
6 wrestlers competed - Gage Stam (126#), Damion Obuchowksi (138#), Quinton Everett (144#), Peyton Heise(165#), Hayden Salazar (150#) and Andrew Reiber (175#)
Losing in the blood round were Stam, Obuchowski, Heise, Salazar and Reiber to make it into the final rounds.
Everett ended up earning the Champion Chart @ 144# and picking up his 150 career win.
