In a gloomy weather, middle school football showdown between the Chesaning Indians and the Flint Powers Catholic Chargers, it was the Powers Catholic Chargers who emerged victorious with a final score of 46-6. The Chargers wasted no time, jumping to a two-score lead early in the game. However, Chesaning displayed resilience by responding swiftly with a touchdown of their own, keeping the contest competitive. Unfortunately for Chesaning, turnovers and brilliantly executed onside kick recoveries by the Powers Catholic Chargers disrupted any momentum gained by the Chesaning defense, limiting their time on offense on the field. As a result, the Chargers gradually pulled away, securing a convincing victory.
