The Chesaning Indians were able to display their determination and dedication to swimming and swimming fast as they swam against Garber High.  One senior was able to smash two individual school records!  Drew Beckman broke a record he previously set in the 200 Freestyle with the time of 2:06.96.  He also broke his own school record in the 500 Freestyle by dropping 11 seconds and swimming with the time of 5:48.46.  Drew was also on a relay team with Levi Maier, Caleb Chalco, and Kaden Liebrock that set a new school record in the 200 Freestyle Relay with the time of 1:48.65.  

Meet Results:

2nd place 200 Medley relay team of Lapine, Liebrock, Lewis, Walker. First place finish by Drew Beckman in the 200 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle with the previously mentioned times.  Chesaning placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the 200 Individual Medley, Lapine (2:39.09), Grover (2:39.32) and Karlie Lewis (2:55.44).  Kaden Liebrock took first in the 50 Freestyle (24.95).  Lewis placed 2nd in the 100 Butterfly (1:10.92).  Lapine placed 2nd (1:11.61) and Maier 3rd (1:22.43) in the 100 Yard Backstroke.  Liebrock placed 2nd (1:16.56) and Kate Lewis 3rd (1:26.68) in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.  Chesaning finished the night by placing 2nd and 3rd in the 400 Free Relay.  

Even though we lost by 10 points the Chesaning Indians gave it their all!  Garber 89 Chesaning 79.  We are grateful to be in the water and will continue to get faster.  Congratulations team!
