Saturday morning, the Indians traveled a very snowy road to Oscoda to swim an invitational against Sault Area High and Oscoda High. Drew Beckman earned swimmer of the meet after placing first in both of his individual events tying with a boy from Sault. Drew placed first in the 200 Free and the 500 Free. Second place finishers were Karlie Lewis in the 100 butterfly, Kaden Liebrock in the 100 Breaststroke, Gwen Lapine in the 100
Backstroke and the 200 Medley Relay team of Lapine, Liebrock, Lewis and Maier. Third place medal winners were Lapine in the 200 Individual Medley(IM), Liebrock in the 50 Free and the 400 Free Relay team of Caleb Chalco, Sophie Grover, Lapine and Beckman. The Indians took home 14 medals and 11 ribbons.
This week the Indians travel to Standish on Tuesday and host Caro on Thursday. Good Luck Indians!
