NEW LOTHROP HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Chesaning Middle School baseball team showed it's pitching depth using 5 pitchers to no hit the New Lothrop 7th grade team. Brayden Florian, Dylan Feliciano, Max Volk, Adam Woodcock and Luke Barta combined to strike out 10 Hornet hitters while issuing only 2 walks in the 5 inning 8-1 victory.
Woodcock led off the home half of the 1st inning with his 4th in the park homerun of the season. Volk hit a triple and scored twice while Florian doubled, driving in 2 runs and scoring twice. Eli Keck drove in 2 runs on 2 singles. Brady Sager scored twice reaching base with a single and a walk. Sager also stole 5 bases during the game. Sterling Tomac scored a run after reaching base on a walk and stealing a base.
Florian stole 3 bases, while Quinton Everett walked and stole 2 bags. Blake Sanders contributed to the win, walking twice and stealing a base.
