The Chesaning Middle School Indians baseball team improved to 9-0 with a 7-3 victory over Lakeville on Friday.  Brady Sager started the game on the mound, striking out 7 batters while giving up 3 hits and 3 walks.  Max Volk pitched in relief to cement the victory.  

     The first 3 batters in the order showed their power on Friday, all of them having extra base hits in the game.  Adam Woodcock went 2 for 3 with a homerun and single accounting for 2 Indian runs.  Max Volk went 2 for 3 with a triple, double, RBI and 2 runs scored.  Brady Sager went 1 for 3 with a double, RBI and 1 run scored.  Brayden Florian proved to be a tough out with a single and 2 walks,  scoring 2 runs and driving 1 run in.  Eli Keck and Luke Barta drove in the other 2 Indian runs in the game.

     Barta had a strong game behind the plate, throwing out 2 base stealers during the game.  Woodcock, Keck and Florian each stole 2 bases and Sager stole 1 base.
