The CMS baseball team loses its first game of the season 6-5 in the nightcap versus Lakeville. The Indians started hot, putting up the maximum 5 runs in the first capped by a RBI double from Quinton Everett. The boys lost momentum following a lengthy delay. When the game resumed, the Indians were flat and Lakeville answered with 4 runs in their first inning and two more in the 4th to leave Chesaning with a split in the doubleheader.
Brady Sager, Luke Barta and Dylan Feliciano all singled and scored runs in the Indians first. Brayden Florian and Eli Keck reached base on Lakeville errors and scored in the inning. Lakeville mustered enough offense in the last inning to win the game. Chesaning looks to continue a great season May 19th when they travel to Durand for a double header.
