CMS Indians defeated Byron 11-1 on Friday in Chesaning. Luke Barta pitched all 5 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits, no walks while striking out 8 batters. Barta needed only 57 pitches, 41 of which he threw for strikes.
Barta had a good day at the plate, scoring a run after hitting a triple. Brady Sager hit a homerun, had 3 rbi, a walk and a stolen base. Dylan Feliciano scored twice, knocked in 2 runs and stole a base. Bradyn Wendling singled, walked, scored a run and had a rbi. Seth Schlicht singled, drove in a run and stole a base.
Eli Keck singled, walked, scored twice and stole 3 bases. Sterling Tomac reached base twice, scoring both times and stealing 2 bases. Blake Sanders walked, scored a run and stole 2 bases for the Indians. Quinton Everett singled and stole a base in the victory.
