The JV Lady Indians wrapped up their season strong with two great wins over the visiting Freeland Falcons! In the first game of the double header we got the offense going early and were able to hold off Freeland’s last inning rally by play strong defense to pull out the win 6-4!   K. Ostrander: 2 walks, 1 run scored   Brezlyn Struck took the win on the mound in game 1 (2-1 on the season)   The Indians are 4-3 on the season (2-2 in MMAC)  

In Game 2 of the double header it took us til the 6th inning to finally get our bats going! The last inning rally pulled the Indians in front 7-3 going into the bottom of the 6th and our defense stayed strong to get the win!   K. Treviño: 2 walks, 2 runs scored H. We had a lot of fun this season and they have all improved so much in the past three months. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to coach them this season!    The Indians finished 5-3 overall (2-2 in MMAC)!   Go Indians!   

The Lady Indians were back in action on Tuesday Night at Durand for a double header! The Indians took the win in the first game 26-16! The girls had their bats going this game, along with a good defensive attack to hold the Durand Railroaders off in the 6th inning! C. Kenney: 1 single, 1 walk, 2 runs scored H. Garno: 1 walk, 4 runs scored N. Neumann: 2 singles, 3 runs scored A. Meder: 2 doubles, 2 singles, 1 walk, 5 runs scored S. Conklin: 1 triple, 2 singles, 5 runs scored K. Trevino: 1 Single, 3 runs scored A. Ostrander: 1 triple, 3 walks, 2, runs J. Bodag: 1 single, 1 walk, 1 run scored  P. Breedan: 4 walks, 1 run scored   Ostrander took the win on the mound tonight totaling 4 strikeouts on the game. (1-0 on the season)   We are so proud of the girls and how they played in the first game of the double header on both sides of the ball! They play 6 long innings and powered through to get the win against Durand in game 1!   The Indians are 2-3 on the season (1-2 in MMAC)

In game 2 of the double header the girls played a close one against Durand and pulled out the win 10-8! The girls got it done on both sides of the ball tonight and really got their bats going in the second game! C. Kenney: 2 singles, 2 runs scored H. Garno: 1 double, 2 runs scored N. Neumann: 2 runs scored  A. Meder: 1 single, 1 run scored S. Conklin: 1 triple, 1 run scored A. Ostrander: 1 walk, 1 run scored S. Shelton: 2 singles, 1 run scored   Ostrander had the save on the mound tonight coming in and finishing strong, holding them scoreless for the remainder of the game! Addison pitched very well for the Indians tonight and we are so proud of the progress she has made throughout the season! (2-0 on the season)   The girls took both games tonight in the double header and we could not be more happy for them! They have put a lot of work in during practices throughout the weeks and it payed off tonight! Everybody played an important role in the games tonight, and we could not be more proud of the way it all came together! The Lady Indians will finish out the season on Thursday against Freeland at home with the game starting at 4pm!  The Indians are 3-3 on the season (2-2 in MMAC)!

The Indians took the loss 7-3 in the first game of the double header.  Game 1: Claudia Kenny: 3-4, 2 singles, 1 run scored Haley Garno: 1-4, 1 Single, 1 RBI Nicole Neumann: 1-4, 1 single Abby Meder: 2-4, 2 singles, 1 run scored Brezlyn Struck: 1-4, 1 single  Savanna Conklin: 1-3, Walk, 1 RBI Paige Breedan: 1 run scored   Brezlyn Struck took the loss on the mound going 1-1 on the season.   The girls battled til the end but came up just short. The bats got going in the first game, but the errors in the field cost them some runs. The girls will be back in action on May 9th at 4pm when they travel to Durand to take on the Railroaders.    The Indians are 1-3 on the season (0-1 in MMAC)

The Indians kicked off their season at Michigan Lutheran Seminary on Tuesday night! The Lady Indians took the win in Game 1 vs the Cardinals 28-0!!  Game #1: Claudia Kenny: 5-5, 4bb, 1 single, 5 runs scored Haley Garno: 3-5, 2bb, 1 single, 2 RBI’s, 3 runs scored Nicole Neumann: 3-5, 1bb, 2 singles, 1 RBI, 3 runs scored Brezlyn Struck: 5-5, 4bb, 1 single, 3 runs scored Sam Shelton: 2-5, 1bb, 1 single, 1 run scored Savanna Conklin: 5-5, 5bb, 5 runs scored Addison Ostrander: 4-5, 4bb, 4 runs scored Jaylin Bodag: 3-4, 3bb, 3 runs scored Paige Breedan: 3-4, 3bb, 1 RBI, 2 runs   Brezlyn Struck took the win on the mound totaling 8 strikeouts for the game (1-0 for the season)   We are very proud of the way the girls came out in the first game! They all played really well together, and we are looking forward to the rest of this season. The Indians next game is at home on Tuesday, April 18th vs Ovid-Elsie at 4pm.   The Indians improved to 1-0 overall (0-0 in MMAC). 

In Game two of the double header the Lady Indians fell short 17-4, but fought hard until the end! Despite the loss the girls made come great plays in the field, and at the plate! The Indians next game is at home on Tuesday, April 18th vs Ovid-Elsie at 4pm.   The Indians fell to 1-1 overall (0-0 MMAC)
