Win: 17.00 - 2.00
The Chesaning Indians split with New Lothrop. The first game the Chesaning Indians rally a little to late. Chesaning was down 10-2 going into the last inning and rallied back to score 5 runs in the top half of the inning. The pitchers for Chesaning were Dylon James, Brody Bitterman, and Logan Vogelaar. Dylon found a groove early and allowed only one run in the first inning. New Lothrop then found some gaps with a few hits in the second inning. Brody Bitterman tried to locate the strike zone to third and found it late in the inning as he was able to retire the last three batters he faced. Logan finished the game without allowing a run. The bats for the Chesaning Indians came alive in the last inning of the first game. The last inning surge was led by Bryant Gomez's single and Dylon James's double. The chesaning Indians end up losing game one 10-7.
Game two the Chesaning Indians were led by Matt Amman's NO HITTER! Matt Amman allowed two runs from walks to start the game and then was locked down from there on out. Matt helped his self by going 2-3 at the plate and scoring 3 runs. Andrew Reiber went 3-3 with 3 singles and a RBI. Hudson Persails and Dylon James each had 2 singles. Braydyn Dilts, Collin Lester, and Cole Staveland each contributed a hit. Logan Vogelaar was the last batter of the game and finished it with a 3 RBI double. 8 of the 9 players for Chesaning found their self crossing home plate at some point in the game. The Chesaning Indians won the second game 17-2.
Chesaning looks to carry this momentum from the end of the first game and the second game as they host Durand on May 3rd at 5 PM.

The Chesaning Indians sweep the two game series against Durand. In game one Chesaning won 5-1. The Chesaning Indians were lead in pitching by Matt Amman and Logan Vogelaar. In Game 1 Matt Amman threw a 1 hitter with 11 of the 12 outs coming from strikeouts. The Chesaning Indians were able to squeeze out 5 runs led by Matt Amman and Logan Vogelaar each with two hits. Followed by Dylon James and Hudson Persails each with a hit. In game two of the double header, Chesaning won 2-1. Logan Vogelaar watches Matt Amman throw a 1 hitter in the first game and wanted to do the same. Logan finished the game with throwing a 1 hitter and striking out 9 out of the 12 outs. Chesaning scored two runs early on but found their self in a cold spell after the first inning. Chesaning had runners in scoring posltion every inning besides one but could not find a way to score them. In the last inning Chesaning found their self up one with a play at the plate. Brody Bitterman was able to locate a ball and tag the runner out at home that was trying to steal on a pass ball. With one out left in the game Durand had a runner on third and a line shot was hit directly at first. Hudson Persails was able to keep the ball in front of him and make the final out at first base.
