Chesaning hosted the Alma Panthers and lost game 1, 6-5. Alma took an early lead scoring 1 run in the top of the 1st inning. Chesaning responded with 4 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning to take a 4-1 lead. The score remained 4-1 until Alma scored 4 runs in the top of the 5th inning to take a 5-4 lead. The Indians once again responded scoring 1 run in the bottom of the 5th to tie the score 5-5. Alma scored the final run of the game in the top of the 6th inning to eventually give the Panthers the 6-5 win. Adam Woodcock started on the mound and took the loss for the Indians. Woodcock allowed 6 runs on 6 hits, 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. Luke Barta came in for relief and pitched 2 innings and gave up no runs on 1 hit and 2 walks.
