Chesaning suffered another tough loss to Alma losing 11-10 in 5 innings. Alma took advantage of some sloppy play by the Indians early and jumped out to a 10-2 lead after 3 innings. Chesaning got things going in the right direction in the 4th inning scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 4th to make the score 10-8 in favor of the Panthers. Alma responded with 1 run in the top of the 5th inning for an 11-8 advantage. Chesaning put together a rally, but fell just short, scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to make the final score 11-10 in favor of Alma. Ethan Hinojosa took the loss for Chesaning going 3 innings while giving up 6 hits, 3 walks, 10 runs (only 2 earned runs) and struck out 2 batters. Luke Barta came in for relief and pitched 2 innings and gave up 2 walks, 1 unearned run and struck out 1 batter. Brady Sager, Nash Wendling and Luke Barta each had 2 hits and Nate Ferry had 1 hit for Chesaning.
