Chesaning completed the sweep by defeating Birch Run 5-2 in game 2. Adam Woodcock started on the mound for the Indians an earned the win by pitching 6 innings. Woodcock gave up 3 hits, 2 unearned runs, walked 1 batter and struck out 7. With the win Woodcock improves his record to 3-0 on the season. Brady Sager came in for relief in the 7th inning with a base runner on to collect the save for Chesaning. Sager hit 1 batter and struck out 2 while collecting the last 3 outs of the game. Sager and Woodcock also led the offensive attack for Chesaning with each knocking 2 hits in the game. Birch Run scored 1st by scoring a run in the top of the 1st inning. Chesaning quickly responded with a run of their own in the bottom of the 1st. The Indians then added 2 runs in the 3rd, and 1 run in the 4th and 5th innings. Birch Run scored the final run of the game in the top of the 6th inning for the 5-2 score. With the win Chesaning improves to 7-1 on the season and 4-0 in the MMAC.
