Chesaning defeated Durand in game 1 of an MMAC clash. Brady Sager was dominant on the mound, as the righty rang up 15 strikeouts. Sager gave up zero hits and zero runs over five and one-third innings while walking one. With the win Sager improves to 6-0 on the season. Jacob Zyrowski came in for relief and pitched one and two-thirds innings. Zyrowski gave up two hits and zero runs, while walking zero and striking out three. Chesaning scored all three of their runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Max Volk tripled, to score Drew Reiber and Logan Vogelaar. Adam Woodcock then drove in Volk to make the score 3-0. 

With the win Chesaning improved to 19-6 overall and 11-0 in the MMAC.
