Chesaning defeated the Durand Railroaders in game 2, 10-1. Adam Woodcock started on the mound for the Indians and collected the win to improve his record to 7-0 on the season. Woodcock went three innings while giving up three hits, one run, three walks and struck out six batters. Jacob Zyrowski came in for relief and pitched two and one-third innings. Zyrowski allolwed zero hits, zero runs, three walks and struck out five. Eli Keck closed the game out pitching one and two-thirds innings while allowing zero hits, zero runs, one walk and struck out two batters. Woodcock also led the Indian offensive attack with four hits and five RBI. Brady Sager, Max Volk, Luke Barta, Jacob Zyrowski and Hudson Persails each collected multiple hits for Chesaning.

With the win Chesaning improves to 20-6 overall and 12-0 in the MMAC. Chesaning’s next scheduled game is Wednesday, May 14 at home versus the Ithaca Yellowjackets for Senior Night.
