Chesaning defeated the visiting Ithaca Yellowjackets in game 1, 10-4. Max Volk threw 5 ⅔ innings of a six inning game to earn the win and improve his record to 4-2 on the season. Volk allowed five hits, two walks, four runs (three earned) while striking out 5 batters. Luke Barta came in for the final out of the game and collected a strikeout. Volk also led the Indians at the plate going 4-4 with 2 RBI and scored three runs. Brady Sager and Eli Keck also collected two hits a piece for the Indians. While Adam Woodcock, Braydyn Dilts and Logan Vogelaar each had a hit. With the win Chesaning improves to 21-6 for the season.
