Chesaning picked up their 4th consecutive win Friday against visiting Montrose High School. It was a defensive battle all night as the Rams jumped out to an early 5 point lead at the end of the first quarter. The Indians battled back, closing the margin to one going into the half." At halftime we talked about battling every possession. That has been our theme this year and all 10 of our guys did exactly that. Tonight was a total team effort, from the energy on the bench, to the great leadership provided by our seniors, Nick Fowler and Sam Princinsky. This team just never quits." The Indians put it all on the line in the second half, behind Lucas Powell's 13 point 4th quarter performance, the Indians outscored the Rams 18-8 in the final quarter to earn the 39-32 victory. Chesaning is back in action Monday night as they host Byron High School.
