Chesaning defeated New Lothrop Friday night to move to 8-2 overall and 5-0 in the conference. The Indians came out strong opening the game up with a 7-0 lead. New Lothrop bounced back to take a 4 point lead going into the half. Defense was the story for the Indians in the second half as they held the Hornets to only 14 second half points. "Tonight was a great night for high school basketball. There was a tremendous atmosphere in the gym and both teams gave it everything they had tonight. Our guys fought every single possession and again it paid off tonight!" Chesaning is back in action Monday night when they travel to Byron High School.
