Chesaning hosted Durand High School Tuesday night and jumped out to a 24-1 lead behind Mason Struck's 12 point 1st quarter. The Indians kept up their intensity and execution in the 2nd going into half with the score 36-10. "We had a really good couple days of practice, we are beginning to buy into focusing on improving the little things and it's paying off. Total team effort tonight!" Chesaning ended up holding off the Railroaders 71-34 to improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the MMAC. The Indians will be back in action this Friday when they travel to Montrose to take on a tough Rams squad.
