Chesaning traveled to Montrose HS l Friday and picked up a 62-43 win. The game was tight in the first half with the Indians taking a 3 point lead (23-20) into the half. Mason Struck paced the Indians with 15 of their 23 first half points on the way to his career high 29. "Montrose did a nice job in their zone the first half. They played with a lot of energy and determination. Thankfully Evan List picked a great time to get hot in the 2nd half." Chesaning stormed out of the locker room outscoring the Rams 39-21 in the second half behind List's four 3 pointers. "We couldn't be prouder of the way our guys battled tonight. We had tremendous defensive effort from all 10 and that's what it takes to win on the road in this league." The Indians move to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the MMAC. Chesaning will be back in action next Tuesday when they take on former TVC Cental foe Alma HS with a 7:30 tip.
