Chesaning improved to 4-2 overall with a 56-45 road win against Birch Run Wednesday night. The Indians showed some rust offensively to start and trailed the Panthers going into half 24-25. Chesaning was able to find their mark in the 3rd behind Lucas Powell and Eli Escamilla´s combined 18 points on their way to outscoring Birch Run 21-5 in the quarter. ¨I thought we did a nice job at times on both ends of the court. We were really proud of the energy off the bench and the engagement in the 3rd. We still have some things to clean up, but we are always happy with any win on the road." Chesaning will be back in action Friday night when they host Mt. Morris High School.
