Chesaning picked up a huge win over previously undefeated Ovid-Elsie High School. The game was tight all night with the Indians holding a 21-18 lead going into the half. Chesaning came out strong in the 3rd and pushed their lead to 8 going into the 4th. In the final quarter, behind some great defense and improved free throw shooting, the Indians were able to hold off the Marauder's final effort to earn the 50-42 win. With the win Chesaning improves to 10-4 overall and 9-2 in the MMAC. "We couldn't be more impressed with the execution by our guys tonight. They left it all on the court and were rewarded for their efforts. O.E. is always one of best teams in this league, they have a tremendous program, to get a win tonight just reinforces what we are trying to build here. We still have quite a few tough games left, so we are going to enjoy the win tonight and then get back to work." Chesaning returns to action next Tuesday when they travel to SASA for a 7:30 tip.
