The Chesaning Boys Cross-Country hosted the 2nd MMAC Jamboree on Tuesday at Showboat Park. The Indians secured 2nd place with 51, falling to only New Lothrop’s 24 team points. Sophomore Levi Maier stepped up for Chesaning, setting a new season best time of 17:28 which was good for a 5th place overall finish. Addison James ran a strong final mile to move into 8th place overall with a 18:53 finish. Jaden James was close behind in 9th place in 18:59. Corbin Walker set a new season best time of 19:30 to take 13th place. Mason Struck ran under 20 minutes for the second consecutive race, finishing 18th overall in 19:45. Isaac Zamora completed the Chesaning team, crossing the line in 27:18. Next up for the Indians is the Birch Run Fall Invitational on Tuesday, October 6th.
