Chesaning Boys Cross-Country continued their strong start to their season with a 5th place finish in the Medium School Division and the Corunna Early Bird Invitational. The Indians faced off against some of the top Division 2 runners in the area and showed what a strong team we have this season. Almost every runner for the Indians set a new Season Best in the race. Junior Levi Maier crossed the finish line first for the Indians with a top 10 finishing time of 17:53, good for 8th place. Maier was followed by the impressive running of Sophomore runner Mason Struck who crossed the line in 19:37 for a 22nd place finish. Freshman Eric Barancik ran a strong final ¾ of a mile to pass 2 runners and take a 29th place finish with a time of 20:03, marking a minute and a half improvement from his first race this season. Corbin Walker (20:18), Jaden James (20:42), Caleb Walker (21:42), and Dakota Sutter (25:22) rounded out the Chesaning team.
