Chesaning boy's tennis played a big match today against the 16th ranked team in the state, Frankenmuth. With a win or tie the Indians will become the 2 seed in the region and have an opportunity to host this year's state qualifier next week.
The boys did just what they needed by earning a 4-4 tie. At #1 singles Leslie Agnew continued his great late season play and came away with a 6-3 6-3 victory.
The boys doubles team dominated again by winning 3 out of the 4 doubles matches. Henry Hill and Brady Coon continued their hot streak with their 10th win of the season with a #2 doubles victory. Andrew Sadilek and Lucas Meder dominated in their victory at #3 doubles. To close out the evening the # 4 doubles team of Alex Marzloft and Justin Rodriguez won a close 3 set match to seal the tie.
The boys finish their regular season on Tuesday and will play in the state qualifier at the end of next week.
