We were excited to start competition after the long Covid delay! The Indians, not surprisingly, started out a little slow, but picked up some momentum in the second quarter. The team played good defense and held Durand to 1 point in the third, taking a 40-21 lead into the fourth. We did a nice job on both defense and rebounding (30 team total) but need  to take care of the ball better. The Indians played with a lot of intensity, which was nice to see throughout the game! Chaz Slankard led the scoring with 10 points, followed by Evan List and Gavin Birchmeier with 9 points each. Eli Escamilla had team high 7 rebounds, 4 steals and 7 assists; Dylan James had 4 assists.
