Chesaning JV Boys suffer a tough 44-41 over-time loss to Birch Run to start off the new year (after being tied 38- 38 at the end of regulation). The Indians fought hard, but it just seemed nothing was clicking for us tonight. We will have to bounce back quickly, since we have back-to-back games, playing tomorrow night at Mt. Morris. Chaz Slankard and Gavin Birchmeier paced the Indians' scoring with 15 points and 12 points respectively. Gavin was high rebounder with 6, and Chaz had 6 steals. Zach Garno topped the team with 9 deflections and 5 blocks.
