Chesaning JV Boys basketball lost to an all-around good Lake Fenton team 63-43 on Wednesday at home. We stayed competitive with the Blue Devils until midway through the 3rd quarter, but then missed some close-range shots around the rim and fell further behind. Regardless, we gave it all we had and played hard all the way through. Gavin Birchmeier was leading scorer with 13 points, Max Volk had 10 points, while Max and Gavin each grabbed 3 rebounds. Blain Butcher had 2 assists, Chaz Slankard had 2 steals, and Keighan Stoddard had 3 deflections.
