The Chesaning Varsity Girls Tennis Team competed at the Division 4 Regional Tournament at MSU Thursday and finished 4th, tied with Durand. Portland placed first with 22 points followed by Ovid Elsie with 16 points. They will proceed to the State Tournament. Lansing Catholic and Lake Odessa followed the 14 points and Chesaning and Durand with 13 points. Completing the lineup were Corunna with 3 points, Lansing Chrisition with 1, and Mt. Morris with 0. Kylie Morse was a medal-winner for Chesaning at #4 Singles.
The Chesaning Girls had a very successful season with a dual meet record of 8-4-1. They were Mid-Michigan Activities Conference Champion (members are Chesaning, Durand, Mr. Morris, Ovid Elsie). All players received 1st or 2nd Team All Conference recognition. Lilly Skaryd had an ourstanding record of 16-1 at #1 singles
