The Chesaning Lady Indians Track & Field team traveled to Shepherd to compete in the MHSAA Regional Meet. Chesaning faced a very challenging field, finishing 10th out of 16 teams at the meet. Despite extreme temperatures throughout the day, the Tribe really gave it their all. Sophomore Avery Beckman started the day strong, establishing a new Personal Best in Pole Vault with a full foot improvement. Her height of 8’6” earned her second place, and a qualifying spot at the MHSAA Division 3 State Finals Meet. Beckman earned All-Regional performances in all four events she competed in. Sophomore runner Charlotte Hartges and Senior Runner/Thrower also finished with All-Regional performances in all four events they competed in. Next up the Lady Indians host the MMAC Championship on Tuesday, May 25th.
