Chesaning Lady Indians Track & Field battled to a 2nd place finish (145.33) at the second MMAC League Jamboree. Chesaning finished behind New Lothrop(165.5) and ahead of Ovid-Elsie (141.33) to take the top three spots in the Conference. “Our girls really came out and battled today. We were able to close the gap between us and New Lothrup from the first league meet, and hung in until the very end. 42 new personal/seasonal bests were achieved during the meet, showing that the hard work we have been putting in is really starting to pay off. Our field events continue to be a strength as we took both first and second place in Pole Vault and High Jump.” The Indians currently hold second place in the conference after the two league meets. Chesaning travels to Heritage High School on Friday to compete in the Saginaw County Championship before returning home to host the MHSAA Regional Meet on Friday, May 20th.
