The Chesaning Girls Track & Field Team competed at the Corunna True Team Classic on Friday, placing 3rd overall and 1st in the small school division with 960 points. Unlike a traditional invitational, the true team format tests both the strength and depth of a team with all finishers scoring points for the team. Chesaning was able to outlast Corunna (860 points) for the top mark of the small schools. Chesaning was thrilled to have Whitney James become our first ever female MHSAA Early State Qualifier with her remarkable 5’ 2” jump in High Jump!
